About this Workshop
Take your idea for an interactive product from sketch to reality with the Arduino microcontroller. Through this open-source, easy-to-use platform, designers can create ‘live’ models that are configurable, sensate, and active. Learn the fundamentals of Physical Computing including basic circuitry, input sources, and output options, and how to integrate all three to create a working prototype.

***Participants must bring the following Arduino Uno. All other components will be provided.

Software
If you would like to follow along with the delivered content, please bring a laptop with the following software installed:

Arduino IDE 1.0.4
This is the latest version of the Arduino programming environment. To install, simply download and unzip the file to a directory on your computer.

Arduino Drivers (for Windowsfor Mac)
In order for your computer to be able to communicate with the Arduino microcontroller, you first need to install some drivers. The links above have step-by-step instructions on how to install these drivers depending on your operating system. Please have the drivers installed (you must have an Arduino board connected to your computer to install the drivers) before the workshop.
