Jessica Rosenkrantz is an artist, designer, and maker. Her work explores how simulations of natural processes can be used in design and coupled with digital fabrication to create one-of-a-kind, customized products. Jessica studied biology and architecture at MIT and continued her studies of architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg founded Nervous System in 2007. Jessica currently acts as Creative Director and Jesse as Chief Science Officer. Jessica graduated from MIT in 2005 and holds degrees in Architecture and Biology. Afterwards, she studied architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Jesse also attended MIT, majoring in Mathematics. Nervous System’s designs have been featured in a wide range of publications, including WIRED, Metropolis, Forbes, and The Christian Science Monitor. Jesse and Jessica have given talks on their generative design process in many forums, including MIT, Carnegie Mellon, SIGGRAPH, and Eyeo Festival.
